J.Fín

J.Fín “Un sendero solitario”
In the current exhibition we present paintings and gouaches of his Parisian period. At first we will focus in the works he does in Paris when he arrives in 1946. These are works where the artist enters in an abstract period, a very dark and sober abstraction with simple materials, even poor, due to his delicate economic situation. Later on, we will go the 60s, where his work will evolve towards a gestural and violent figuration with a strong poetic charge, where still lifes, human figures and birds will be the base of his compositions. Part of the show will coincide with the one that the Picasso Museum will be presenting, “The shared studio, Picasso, Fín, Vilató, Xavier”, which will feature the work of the 4 artists focusing in his graphic production.
