{"id":40616,"date":"2023-05-03T10:52:50","date_gmt":"2023-05-03T09:52:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saladalmau.com\/?p=40616"},"modified":"2023-05-03T10:53:56","modified_gmt":"2023-05-03T09:53:56","slug":"mural-by-jose-luis-zumeta","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saladalmau.com\/en\/2023\/05\/03\/mural-by-jose-luis-zumeta\/","title":{"rendered":"Mural by Jos\u00e9 Luis Zumeta"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mural by Jos\u00e9 Luis Zumeta<\/p>\n<p>Usurbil Town Council is commemorating the 50th anniversary of the mural by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saladalmau.com\/en\/artist\/jose-luis-zumeta\/\">Jos\u00e9 Luis Zumeta<\/a> in his hometown with the restoration of the mural by the company \u00c1rtyco, which will spend two months carrying out a minimal intervention that will respect the original elements and will focus on cleaning, consolidating and sealing the mural.<\/p>\n<p>At 16 metres high and 9 metres wide, the mural by Jos\u00e9 Luis Zumeta in Usurbil is one of the largest ceramic murals in Europe and has become an iconic image of Usurbil.<\/p>\n<p>The anniversary will be accompanied by two exhibitions, the first will be held between 28 April and 15 May and will focus on the making of the mural with documents, photographs and details of its creation.
