Sala Dalmau gallery was founded in 1979 by Francesc Draper. It is located at the neuralgic center of Barcelona’s art galleries, at number 349 Consell de Cent street. Director: Mariana Draper.
 
Sala Dalmau is especially devoted to the recovery of the Historical Avantgardes: M.Angeles Ortiz, R.Barradas, O.Dominguez, J.Fin, E.Granell, J.Gurvich, Le Corbusier, A.Ribeiro, J.Salvadó, J.Torres-García, A.Torres, J.Vilató,  H.Viñes…  and Contemporary artists of the new figuration: J.Amagat,  P. Bruera, M.Belzunce, J.Capella, C.Escape, JMªGarcía-Llort, J.Gay, L.González J. Lapuente, J.Leguey,  V.Lasheras,  V.Pedra, M. Peña…
 
The gallery has received two ACCA awards (Catalan Association of Art Critic) in 1999 and 2005. It collaborates periodically with museums and art foundations in itinerary exhibitions linked to the Avantgardes (MNCARS, IVAM, CAAM, MNAC, Picasso Museum Barcelona…). It also presents exhibitions of its artists all over the country.
